Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for its combined Geo-scientist and geologist examination during the session 2015. The eligible and interested candidates can apply by March 20.

Candidates should be any citizen of India; a subject of Nepal; a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Geological, geophysical and chemical (Group 'A') to the Geological Survey of India, an attached office of the Ministry of Mines, Government of India: Nominations for this post should age between 21 and 32 years
Junior Hydrogeologists (scientific B) A group of Central Board of ground water, Ministry of Water Resources: Nominations for this post should age between 21 and 35 years.
Age relaxation is applicable for the candidate belonging to reserved category.
Geologist (Group 'A'): The application of this post, have completed a master's degree in science or geological exploration Geology Applied Geology and Geo Mineral exploration or geological or engineering or Marine Geology and Earth Science and Resource Management or studies oceanography and coastal geoscience or petroleum or petroleum exploration geochemistry and geophysical technology or technology or geological.
For geophysical (Group 'A'): The application of this post, have completed a master's degree in Applied Physics / Physics or a master's degree or master's degree in Geophysics integrated geophysical exploration or MSc in Marine Geophysics / Geophysics applied or MSc (Tech) in Applied Geophysics.
For chemical (Group 'A'): The application of this post, have completed a master's degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry and Applied Chemistry.
Junior Hydrogeologists: The application of this post, have completed a Masters in Geology Geology / Marine Geology / Applied. In addition, candidates must have a Master's degree in hydrology.
