Delhi University recently completed a job fair where more than 5,000 students were given the opportunity to make work that can be graduated in 2015. During the first station location session, three companies came to campus and about 100 students were hired. 35 students secured jobs for themselves.

Among the various jobs offered profiles show was like content writing, business, nutritionist, customer care executives and academic coordinators who remained favorites. Average package offered to the students was Rs. 4.8 lakh per annum. Some of the companies visited were really Knowledge Center lychee, solutions and intellectual EXL Service Pvt Ltd experts.
Cell of Delhi University Central Placement (CPC), which carries out these practical units every year where students from different courses can register and find deals that companies throughout the cell. CPC job fairs are open to all students regardless of which department they belong to.
JM Khurana, dean of students welfare DU said, "On-line registration for the placements began on 18 September this year. More than 5,000 students enrolled the first placement drive. We plan to make a collective unit . December placement after graduation. another likely be held in January. "
Last year, 1,200 students were placed during the training sessions conducted by pushing the CPC. Some of the major companies like WIPRO, Housing.com, Oravel travel, delivery systems, and ingenious solution-brain, Aon, Hewitt, Medley and marketing research company HT came last year to recruit students to DU through fairs.
